The Whalan Depot was built in 1870 and used for passengers who rode the train. Everything is still as it was, to the wood floors, pot belly stove, lead glass windows, and wood slatted walls. Ask us about the initials and names of passengers etched into the window glass from 1910.
While you are here, enjoy an ice cream novelty treat, homemade fudge from Valley Fudge & Candy, a cold drink, protein bars, cold sandwiches, and an array of snacks. We also have bike accessories, handmade gifts, including candles, clothing, souvenirs and much more! We also provide FREE WIFI and air for your bike tires! Right off the Root River Bike Trail!
OPEN weather permitting in April. Open 7 days a week May-Oct 31, Mon-Sat 10a-5pm, Sun. 10a-4pm
