We werebrndnew to MN and live in Chatfield. After seeing a poster at our local grocer we decided to stop in for Christmas crafts. It was amazing, in Dec. just before Christmas 2022. They had great homemade treats,jams,baked goods,crafts, candles and more. I wish they were open this Christmas. I need more sweater weather candles. They are so good. Such a cute shop. Maybe they'll have the scent in May when they reopen?? I have fingers crossed.

We grabbed some sodas and chatted with the proprietor, very sweet. Lots of good snacks and neat gifts. Owner told us to swing through the main street of Lanesboro off of 16, which was a good tip. Would stop here again.

We make the short trip from Rochester to this area often and we were surprised to find the Whalan Depot just off the bike trail in Whalan. What a neat little place with treats, ice cream, handmade candles, lots of gift items, and the owner is so friendly and helpful. We took the bikes back to Lanesboro and drove a few miles down the road again just so we could carry back all of our finds. It is a real gem of a find in the area and we recommend stopping in!
